MONTREAL, March 9 /CNW Telbec/ - With the opening of the 7th edition of the Salon des vins et spiritueux de Montréal (www.salondesvins.com) just a few days away, the Association québécoise des agences de vins, bières et spiritueux (AQAVBS) is proud to announce that Stéphane Quintal is the ambassador for the event.

Stéphane Quintal accepted the Salon organizers' invitation, without any hesitation, driven by the desire to share his passion for wine with the public.

It was during his brilliant hockey career while traveling abroad that Stéphane Quintal discovered the wonderful world of wine, through the influence of Pierre Gervais, equipment manager of the Montreal Canadiens and a great wine lover. "Today, wine has become a real passion of mine," explains Stéphane Quintal. "During my many trips, from vineyard to vineyard, my horizons opened onto a world of aromas and tastes, of culture and history. Each wine tasting is a whole new experience, an adventure inspired by originality and passion." Whether you are a connoisseur, an expert or an amateur, the Salon des vins et spiritueux de Montréal, organized by the AQAVBS, in partnership with the Société des alcools du Québec, will offer you several tasting, discovery and travel opportunities. You will also meet 230 producers, winemakers, distillers, brewers and grape growers. Finally, you will broaden your knowledge through the free presentations and tastings offered by the producers.
