statutory holidays each year with many falling on a Monday, thereby
creating a long weekend. Additional holiday dates are often used

The last long weekend of the summer--Labour Day in Canada,
and Labor Day in the United States. Labour Day, the first
Monday in September, is a creation of the labour movement
and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of
Canadian workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute
to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity
and well-being of our country. This Year Labour Day lands
on Monday September 1st. |

Fall Colours (colors) and is the perfect time to take

This year with Christmas falling on a Thursday and Boxing
day on a Friday, many will celebrating Christmas and a long
weekend together. Hanukkah falls on Wednesday December 21st

Day Long Weekend-Feburary 18 is Family Day
This long weekend in February has been adopted by 4 provinces
in Canada: Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Saskatchewan.
The 3 day long weekend will start on Friday February 15 and
end with the holiday Monday the 18th, 2008. |

with the Easter weekend staring on Good Friday 2008 and ending
Easter Monday 2008. Easter is a time for, spring flowers,
Easter eggs, the Easter Bunny, special Easter Sunday church
services, parades, family togetherness, and of course lots

Monday May 19th, 2008 is Victoria Day however the official
long weekend starts on the
Friday May 16, 2008 - through until Monday May 19, 2008.
