The Theme this year is Historic Parks and Landscapes: Canada parks, local and national, big and small, all play an important role in the lives of Canadians. Canada Heritage Day is sponsored by The Canadian Heritage Foundation Canadian visitors and residents will be out having fun in the snow, on the ice, having a winter carnival party with sculpturing contests, snowmobile races, concerts, dog sled races, sleigh rides, car rallies, and all the hot chocolate and outdoor snacks with a variety of winter entertainment taking place on Canada's Heritage Day.
