Winter Sports in Canada
As the 2010 Olypmpics approach Canada will be recognized as a leading winter sports destination throughout the world. The sports of Skiing (Alpine Skiing, Giant Slalom, Super G, Combined, Cross Country Skiing, Free Style, Freestyle, Skicross, Ski Jumping); Snowboarding (Snowboard, Boardercross, Parallel Giant Slalom, Half Pipe); Ice Skating (speed skating, figure skating), Biathalon, Curling, and Canada's favourite Ice Hockey. Although not official winter olympic sports, we can't forget Snowmobiling, and Snow Tubing (snowtubing) in Canada.
