| Family Day in Canada is an official holiday In Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta on the third Monday each year. Many provinces have their own version of Family Day, however the national name of this day is Canada Heritage Day.

Sask In Motion family photo contest
Southwest Booster - Saskatchewan in motion has launched a photo contest to encourage all families and individuals to get physically active on Family Day, February 21, ...Take a photo of your family enjoying your favourite physical activity and submit it to the Saskatchewan in motion Facebook page. Every photo submitted will be entered in the draw to win a $50.00 gift certificate to a fitness and sports retailer.

Monday, February 21, 2011 - 1:00 to 4:00 pm - Family Day Fun
Join us at the Heritage Centre for a family fun day! We'll have 2 teams of horses out and ready to give sleigh rides, there will be snowshoeing and shinny (we'll have sticks available, but you're welcome to bring your own if you'd like!) and crafts, face-painting, hot chocolate and cookies. You'll get a chance to win door prizes and much more! Children ages 5 and under gain free admission. A big thank you to Morsky Rosalea Belgians for donating the sleigh rides. We hope to see you there!
