Family Day in Canada is an official holiday In Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta on the third Monday each year. Many provinces have their own version of Family Day, however the national name of this day is Canada Heritage Day.

Start off Family Day weekend with a prehistoric blast from the past
with a Camp-In at the Royal Tyrrell Museum. Beginning Sunday evening,
come in for dinner and stay for three fun, family-friendly, educational
and interactive family activities. Follow it with a bedtime snack
and spend the night with your sleeping bag in tow in Dinosaur Hall
surrounded by giants from the past. In the morning post breakfast,
you'll be the first to explore the galleries before the crowds.
